I am wondering who to start this week in my WR and I have a lot. Pick 3 you think I should start out of:

Calvin Johnson, Shaun McDonald, Michael Jenkins, Lee Evans, Amani Toomer, Donte Stallworth

THanks.

Anyway, running 220+ yds gets you noticed. I had no idea he was THIS good, then again it was only against the Chicago D...

I know nobody likes the current system, everyone seems to be in favor of a playoff, but this season has been wonderful. With a playoff system in place there would be no second guessing, no " we got robbed banter " . I think the current system keeps fans more entertained and interested than any other could. This is just my humble opinion, best of luck to the teams still in the race for the national championship. Go Sooners !

Repeat 6-0 run from a few years ago that ended with them being the champions...Are they going to get better throughout this season and reclaim the title? Or will they fall by post season?

All the polls are based on opinions of sports writers and coaches. My friends and I have a beer bet that if the fans could vote, the top 25 would be very different. SO... who's the best team.

To make it easier to tabulate the results, please do the poll at http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/fanrankings/

Thanks.

Some statistics:
THey have 230 points thru 6 games, the second most in the entire Super Bowl era through that span second only to the 2000 Rams.
They are averaging 431 yards per game, tops in the league.
They are averaging 38.3 points per game, obviously tops in the league.

I believe this is a no-brainer. He leads the league in TDs (21), passing yards (1771), and passer rating (a ridiculous 128.9) through six games. Here are some records he has already set:
- First QB ever to throw 79 completions in his first 100 attempts of a season.
- First QB ever to throw 6 consecutive games to start a season with at least 3 TD passes.
- First QB to throw 21 TD passes through the first six games of a season.
- Tied record for most wins through first 100 starts (75 with Roger Staubach).
- Tied franchise record with 5 TDs against Cowboys (two were taken away, from instant replay and OPI)
His #s project to 4720 yards, 56 TDs and 5 INTs.

We buy the tickets to the game. We watch the Televised games. We buy the licensed merchandise. Then how does the NCAA repay us give us some bogus Bowl Championship series that doesn't actually prove anything other than who is the most consistent team.

When are the NCAA, the conference commissioners and the powers that rule college football take care of the people who really support it in the first place?

For argument's sake, let's assume Ohio State runs the table in the Big Ten and makes the National Title Game. Who should play them, assuming that the trend of craziness continues...

Option (A) - A "1-loss" team with a high strength of schedule like California, Kentucky, Oklahoma, or Oregon, for example...

*OR*

Option (B) - An undefeated team that has run the table with a weaker schedule like Boston College, Hawaii, Kansas, or South Florida?

Willis McGahee (underachiever with huge potential) plays against an injured Bills defense that has the potential to stop anybody. The Bills defense can be great, but usually isn't.

Willie Parker (Safe bet) goes against Denver. The Steelers have had 2 weeks to prepare for Denver. The Broncos run defense has been sloppy lately, and Champ Bailey and Dre Bly should make Willie run the ball all day.

Adrian Peterson (Once is luck, twice is momentum, three times is a trend.) He should recieve more attention this week because of his breakout game against the Bears. I don't think I can expect another monster game (definitely not like last week) from him. He does go against a very good team at Dallas. The Vikings won't have time to run the ball if they are trying to outscore Romo and the Cowboys.

I feel fairly confident in all of my backs, but which two should I start and why?

The Patriots andd the Colts look like the two best teams in the NFL but because they are both in the AFC they can not play each other in the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl will probably be either of those two team and an inferior NFC team.
This makes for a bad Super Bowl.
