I know nobody likes the current system, everyone seems to be in favor of a playoff, but this season has been wonderful. With a playoff system in place there would be no second guessing, no " we got robbed banter " . I think the current system keeps fans more entertained and interested than any other could. This is just my humble opinion, best of luck to the teams still in the race for the national championship. Go Sooners !

Unpredictable. That is the only word I can use to explain it.As an Auburn fan,we lose to South Florida and Miss. St. at home on back to back weekends.Later go to Florida and Arkansas and win both on a Saturday night.NOW the South Florida game is very explainable but losing to Miss. St...unexplainable.This is just one team(Auburn) we are talking about. The same thing is going on all over the Country week after week.I think it is great for College football and football in general.
[edit]I agree with {jwsnyder..}I'm an SEC fan but loved the Oklahoma-Nebraska game. Please bring it back.I've been saying this for years.

I agree completely. No one would care USC lost, because they would be in the playoff. No one would have watched Kentucky beat LSU, because LSU would be in the playoff. They need to back track a little, and let Nebraska play Oklahoma every year. The red river rivalry is nice, but not the same thing.

WHAT? just another season like it always has been to me. tradition etc. always some goats and some heroes. some teams low on the totem pole move up and some are moved down. football is most important on holiday like thanksgiving and new year's day etc. tradition etc. silly game really. i thought it was the most important thing in the world when i play jv in hi school. i am sure it is not. it is not the same.

college football? i dunno. personally, i have always thought school is for learning academics and most college teams are really professiional or semi-professional players. they take special jock courses and that is their dream to make the big time. no different from the thousands that move to la and dream of breaking into movies or thousands who migrate to nyc with hopes of making it in show biz. most don't. but it is a tradition. go buckeyes and tigers and bulldogs and steers and bulls etc. rah, rah rah!
