It's been time for a playoff in college football for at least 15 years, and especially so teams will stop playing the Central Upper Nebraska Techs of the world.

Yes. It should have happened years ago. Every other sport has some sort of system to determine a champion. So why doesn't college football? I say you take the top 8 teams in final regular season BCS with no automatic births for conference champions and let them settle it on the field.
