Which of these 2 team will lose this week, the Irish or the Wolverines. Well, i can see both of them lose this week, Wolverines will lose to Oregon Ducks because they can't stop a Spread Offense and the Irish, they just can't stop any team, no offense, no defense, they'll just too young all around.

To- MongoDaGreat- Sorry my man but your Irish is in for a long year, and Jimmy Clausen will run for his life against Penn St. defense.

I was listening to the radio today and a commentator on talk radio that gives his picks each week says that he thinks the Bears will be beat just as bad as the Saints were beat last Thursday..........
I just don't see that happening, There offense will suprise ya'll, and the defense was embarrassed in the SB, I see the Bears winning, BARELY, by 7 or less.
Who do ya think will win? Why?? Final score??

From me as a saints person i think they need a new defensive coach like Jim Johnson from the Eagles or Ryan from the Ravens, but better yet Jim Johnson from the Eagles since he uses different types of blitz packages that comes from any angle.

i play high school football i'm a cornerback and i'm 5'4 135 pounds yeah i'm kind of short and i was wondering if anyone would know how to tackle someone big like a full back going strait at u i'm not talking about a side tackle i know u go for the legs but if he was running strait at u how do u tackle him because if i went for the legs i would probably hit my head against his knee and would break my neck

I have not been able to find anything that seperates the two leagues fundamentaly speaking of course.

I understand the history of each league, but are there any different rules? I am somewhat comparing it to the American and National league in Baseball.

Do you think that McCown really will start, as its been puportedly leaked? Or do you think that Lane Kiffin "let" that information leak to get Detroit to prepare for McCown, when he really intends to start Culpepper?

It just doesnt make much sense. Kiffin, by all measures, has played his cards close to his chest. I dont know why anyone in the Raiders or close to the Raiders would tip his hand when he's just trying to give the Raiders every edge on Sunday. I dont know why McCown would start, either, when Culpepper played better in the last week of the preseason, and also since McCown was WITH the Lions last year, you'd imagine they know him very well and would know just how to play against him...

Maybe I shouldnt mention it in case anyone from the Lions reads this board, but if Culpepper starts on Sunday then I want credit for callilng it :)

I really want to play football-any ideas where/how to start?
My high school allows girls on the school team(varsity) if they make the tryouts, same as any other guy. I don't know who to talk to about it to find out tryout dates, etc-any advice?


FYI:I am 5'10" and pretty stocky/muscular, plus I weigh about 180, so I am not a fragile girl... lol never shall be :-)

any ideas on what position to try out for?

Recently, I've been thinking about going to my very 1st live football game with a relative or a friend. There are a few questions I need to know.

1. Do fans get autographs from their favorite athletes (from home or visiting teams) before or after the game?

2. What is it like to watch a LIVE football game?

3. Do fans get to meet the cheerleaders?
