The AFC and the NFC are conferences, not divisions, but you stupid f*ck AFC fans wouldn't know any better would you?
I'm seriously sick of hearing how great the AFC is. Look at this-

The AFC has won 4 straight and already they're acting like they invented the sport. But let's take a look at the years 1984 - 1998, 14 straight years the NFC won it. String together another decade of AFC wins and then we'll talk.
And then look at those 4 they did string together, 2 of them were won by field goals and one gave new meaning to the term "terrible towel".
The AFC is highly highly overrated and I'd expect the NFC to get back to business this year if not the next.

This question is not even close - AFC by a mile
Last year the AFC won 40 of 64 inter-conference games
Last year's NFC #2 seed won 10 games. Last year's AFC #6 seed won 10 games. And if you think the 63% AFC win rate was due to bad teams getting beat consider the NFC Champion, they played 5 AFC teams and lost 3.
Now, let's have a little fun. Take the champion of each AFC division and replace the worst team in the corresponding NFC division.
East - New England would easily win
South - Well, we saw what happened on Thursday and we will see the same thing 3 more times this year.
North - The most interesting case with two teams with good defense and suspect offense but Baltimore's defense is better.
West - We got to see this case last year. The Chargers went undefeated against the NFC West
So that's all four NFC divisions being won by their corresponding AFC champion.
The all-time score in Super Bowl wins is NFC 21 AFC 20. This will be evened up this year.

The AFC is tougher. The AFC North division is the toughest division. I think though that the NFC will win the Super Bowl this year because of two things. First, the AFC will beat on each other all season. Second, the AFC may overlook their NFC opponents.

The AFC by far. Im a seahawks fan and I would like to say that the NFC is better, but truth is, is that the AFC is alot better. Look at Thursdays night game. Saints and Colts. Both were thought to be top of their divisions, and clearly the Colts(AFC) were the better team

AFC by a long shot. The best team in the NFC, the Bears, would be hard pressed to beat 8 or 9 of then AFC teams.

AFC by far. The AFC's general talent level is much higher than the NFC's. In the NFC the top teams are the Bears, Saints, Cowboys, and Seahawks. In the AFC you have the Colts, Chargers, Patriots, Ravens, Bengals, and to a less extent the Broncos and the Steelers.

Alex S, your joking right? Stop living in the past, dummy. So what if they won 17 straight? They lost the last 4, which what matters today. The only teams that could bring the NFC back to greatness are the saints and bears. Saints played like a Div 7 high school team against the colts, and the bears for some reason stick with Rex Grossman. If they got ridda him, the bears could definitey hang with the best teams in the AFC. However, for this season, AFC dominates.

Several AFC teams could win the NFC handily -- Indianapolis, New England, San Diego, Baltimore. Cincinnati and Pittsburgh aren't bad either.
It's the AFC in charge, again.

AFC, It has the Colts, Patriots, Chargers, Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals.
NFC only has the Bears, Saints, and Seahawks.
