theres been a curse that he will. priest holmes gets in '03,couple years he gets hurt. shaun alexander in '05,'06 he got hurt, LT got in '06, will he get hurt in 07 or 08 or is that just plain stupid. i dont think he will i hope he doesnt hes on my fantasy team.

It's preseason for everyone & every part of preseason football is going to be sloppy, but what ESPN has done to MNF is a disgrace. I kept telling myself that this was the first game for these 3 announcers together & it would take some time for them to gel and become a good crew, but it's obvious that 2 of those jokers absolutely do not belong in the booth. Jaws is great for pre/postgame analysis & Kornhole works well with Wilbon in the format they have on their show (2 annoying fools arguing with each other is somewhat amusing at times), but neither should be in the MNF booth. ESPN has turned MNF into 3 hours of scripted, annoying, boring noise with football on the screen. But hell, you can't see much football with all the graphics flashing on the screen & that stupid score/time display right in the center/bottom of the screen blocking the view of the WR/CB matchup. You suck Kornhole, stick with pregame Jaws, & go to hell ESPN, you have ruined MNF!

I know one quarter doesn't count, but I was very impressed with Joey Harrington's performance against the Jets. He is moblie and was very good passing against the Jets' #1 defense. He is a much better passer than the Falcons have had since Chris Chandler.

I have thought of this for a while and I'd like to hear insight into it. American Football has truly become America's sport. There is more sports watched on television in the seventeen weeks of the NFL season than there is during the 82-game seasons of the NBA and the NHL as well as the 162-game season that MLB has.

I don't believe in having 82 games a year, but I believe that a 20-game schedule played over 22 weeks would bring more attention (as well as $$$) to the NFL, and also appease those of us who wish there was more football.

Why is one person hated, and another beloved?

I mean in general; some people (hi!) still believe that Kobe is a rapist, and some believe that Vick is innocent. But it seems that most people now despise Vick, but most people still love Kobe.

I've seen this in plenty of cases, and I want to know your personal thoughts on why you view two people in two similar situations in two totally different ways; one is viewed with absolute disgust, one is still (inexplicably) regarded as one of the best in his league.

I mean i hate him for what he did as much as anyone else, but oj gets away with murdering a HUMAN, yet Michael Vick is hated even more then oj for killing dogs. Its like no one cares about humans, yet if you kill an animal, its like theres nothing worse. That is why i hate peta.

Los Angeles needs an NFL team. Our colors could be pink and yellow and orange, and other pretty colors. We could call ourselves the Rainbows. I would route for a team like that. Do you think that would be cool?
