Duke (ACC) they've redefined sucking it up
Mississippi St (SEC) most other SEC teams fans ask that Miss St join the SWAC
Purdue (Big 10) they used to be solid.. dunno what happened there
Pac-10.. Arizona, Arizona St, Washington, Washington St.. not real clear on which one is more horrible.. Arizona is my lean though they got purely bombed by LSU last year 45-3
Colorado (Big 12) they got beat by someone along the lines of Western Michigan (not sure if that was the team or not)
don't forget that Miss St beat Alabama last year lol.. of course so did almost everyone else.. but they're still in the cellar of the SEC.. although they might get a leg up on Ole Miss this year.. and I completely forgot about Stanford in the Pac-10.. although the rest of those teams suck too
and someone knows not alot about SEC ball the last few years to say Vanderbilt.. they have had 2 or 3 solid years of improvement and this year should be around 8-4 or 7-5 with a bowl game this year.. I'm an Auburn fan and lemme tell you the game w/ Vanderbilt is worrisome to me.. sandwiched in between @ Florida, @ Arkansas, @ LSU.. that could very well be an upset.. and I add I think they'll take Bama this year.. and they'll get off to a good start because for the first time in a while they don't start out in the Big House of Michigan

Ok, look... Every conference has down years and this has been one of the worst years for Pac 10 football that I can remember. Your information is accurate, but it is limited in scope as it only covers one year. If you look at out of conference records over 15, 20, 30 years the numbers will improve significantly. Historically the Pac 10 is a conference at least on par with the Big 10. This is borne out by it's 27-24 record against the Big 10 in Rose Bowls. Also the Pac 10 is 3rd in national titles won in the last 50 years behind the SEC and Big 12 (13,12, and 8 respectively.) Those are the facts and you can look it up. As for USC being an average team... That is such a ridiculous comment it doesn't merit response, but here goes. Simply put, an average team doesn't dominate BCS bowls year in and year out. An average team doesn't dominate it's out of conference schedule year in and year out. You say put them in a real league and they would become average. What league in particular? The SEC? The last time USC played an SEC team the played Darren McFadden's Arkansas, a team that ended up winning the SEC west that year, and beat them 50-14. This was a year after they went into Arkansas and beat them 70-17. The year before that they went into Auburn, a team that was ranked #3 at the time and was considered a national title contender, and beat them 23-0. Did you mean the Big 12? Granted they lost to Texas by 3 points, but this was a year after beating Oklahoma 55-19 in the title game. Does that sound average? Did you mean the Big 10? That 35-3 beatdown of OSU was pretty average I guess. Name any major conference and you'll find a top team from it that SC has thoroughly embarrassed in the Carroll era. Honestly, I don't know what more SC could do to get a little national respect. Win every game they play I suppose. We agree that the Pac 10 is lousy this year, but if you look beyond one bad year you'll see that the Pac 10 is traditionally the 3rd or 4th best conference in the land. That's respectable, and the idea that SC is an average team in, say, the SEC, is laughably ridiculous when you take into account just a little bit of recent history and open your eyes. Response - 72-68. Wow. You really put me in my place. What a MASSIVE difference. I'll assume your info is correct, but it really makes no difference. First of all, I never said the Pac 10 was superior or even equal to the SEC. What I said was that the Pac 10 is usually the 3rd or 4th best conference. That's respectable.Your stats do nothing to contradict that assertion. Secondly, you can take out USC if you want to, but while you're at it you might want to take out the SEC's out of conference cupcake opponents. The SEC schedules far more division 1AA teams than the Pac 10. You can argue that it's necessary because their conference sched. is so brutal, but you have to acknowledge that that inflates their 72% win rate at least somewhat. Sorry, but you won't find any Citadels, or Louisiana Monroes on USC's schedule, but you see them on the schedule of programs like Florida, Bama, and LSU EVERY YEAR. And here's some trivia for you: There are only 5 Div. 1 schools who have NEVER scheduled a Div. 1AA opponent and THREE of those schools are in the Pac 10 (USC, UCLA, and Washington). Would that 68% win rate be a little higher if the Pac 10 scheduled as many overmatched lower div. patsies as the SEC does? Lastly, you say that SC would not win 9 straight league titles (they've actually won seven) in a stronger conference and I agree with you. But not winning a conference every year does not make you average in that conference! If USC played in, say, the SEC they would be a power in that conference year in and year out just as LSU and Florida have been. Would you say LSU and Florida have been average in the SEC? Alright. Done. Feel free to reply.

Well Stanford pretty much earned their spot as Worst in the Pac-10. I'm a Pitt fan so don't know guess the talent wasn't really there for Walt Harris.
Duke is clearly the Worst ever.
Big East, can't really say. Pitt started strong last year but then collapsed, and we won't even go into two years ago(amazed they won the Division 1-AA game).

Pretty much the whole bottom half of the Pac-10 could lose to Sun Belt teams.

I would have said Temple before they left the Big East. Duke is an easy pick. A team that historically has been competitive but has been el-stinko in recent years as been Stanford.
It's funny...I bet up until a year or two ago a lot of people would have chimed in with Rutgers...you don't hear that now though.
