I really like the look of the practice jerseys. All solid color with no stripes on the arms or number on the shoulders. Havent seen these for sale anywhere. Anyone know if they sell this style of jersey?? Thanks!

Asanti tied champ for number of interceptions last year. He also shut just about everyone he faced down. He is a great corner along the lines of Rod Woodson and Darryl Green because he tackles. I saw him knock the snot out of Ricky Williams two seasons ago. I wish that he could get his props. What do you all think of Asanti?

Its great move if he stays and isn't disgruntled. Would you have made the move Bears fans.

On a side note. Its sad for Alan Branch. He only went into the draft cause he had a great chance of joining his favorite team (the redskins) and how the draft went, if the redskin got briggs, there is not doubt in my mind they would have grabbed him at that late first round pick.

Watching highlight films of this guy...

He just wows the **** outta you

He never goes down... He spins off one guy, trucks the next guy and stiff arms the next guy as he cruises into the endzone

He has insane speed for such a big guy... 4.39 in the 40 easy

---

He will split carries with Chester Taylor

but the Vikings have a monster left o-line in McKinnie, Hutchinson & Birk

---

Childress also said he will use both RBs in the same backfield at itmes...

So I'm sure Peterson is gonna get quite a decent amount of carries

---

So what do you all think?

Will the Minneota Vikings have a winning record this year?

Last year they were 6-10 and had many injuries to the team...
Not to mention they were going through a coaching change...

Positives:

This year they had a really good draft adding some playmakers to the offense in Adrian Peterson, Sidney Rice & Andre Allison...

On defense they added a good pass rushing DE is Brian Robinson who had the 2nd best 40 time for a d-lineman & Chris McCauley who was rated as a 1st round cornerback last year

In free agency they added Visante Shiancoe TE and Bobby Wade WR

Negatives:

Lost Fred Smoot (but he didn't fit in their new Cover 2 defense)

Lost Jermaine Wiggins (his lack of speed put no pressure on the seam)

Have a very tough schedule this year... Playing the NFC EAST & the AFC WEST

---

So what do you guys think?

I thought football was mostly about size, and the last time I checked, most people think that a team of smaller, faster, high-endurance guys would win in the game of football.

I've watched the WWE enough to see Umaga topple Jeff Hardy several times and guys like The Undertaker take on Gregory Helms(formerly The Hurricane) with hardly any trouble at all.

Which do you prefer? College? Pro? Or do you like both of them?

I would have to say that I find the college game more exciting. The players are truly playing for the love of the game, not the money. The rivalries are classic. Bama/Auburn, Army/Navy, ND/USC, OSU/Michigan, etc. There just seems to be more passion in the college game.

Anyways, what are your thoughts?

Does college football need to abandon the BCS and move into a playoff/tournament system? I say no question it does, time for corporate america to stop making money off sport and bring it back to the game. BCS and picking #1's have went on for way too long now.

What do you think, yes or no to playoff/tournament?

Don't they understand that one of the reasons Jamarcus was drafted no 1 and considered a much better prospect than Brady Quinn was because he's too friggin' big and strong to get sacked (especially compared to Quinn)?
His O-line is definitely going to be terrible, but how are the NFL defensive ends and linebackers, most of whom are a lot smaller than Jamarcus, bring down this beast that is probably the strongest quarterback ever to play in the NFL? I mean, just look at his size.
What about defensive tackles?
Well, if they ever get anywhere near Jamarcus, he's just gonna outrun them with his 4.7 40 yard dash and fool them with his athleticism.
Jamarcus is going to start next year, have a hell of a year, and WON'T get sacked that much.
Who agrees?
