im a big titans fan 2 and i didnt jump on their ban wagon because of vince but they will make playoffs but they have one of the hardest schedules. pray for keyshawn because they had the worst draft in the nfl. So what if vince is on the cover i cant even beleive people beleive that there is a curse its just caus ehtey pick bad players to be on the cover this yaer everyone will see that i am right that there is no madden curse. Despite there losses in the secondary pacman they still got nick harper and rooki michael griffin is mocing to corner back and Lendale white is ready to be a star. have faith in vince young its ine way to be wise

I think that the Titans could snag away a playoff spot as a wildcard team. They all most made the wildcard last season when they weren't expected to do anything in 2006.

But when you look at the AFC teams that are expected to win their division, 3 of them had top ten defenses last season, with San Diego, New England, and of course Baltimore with the league's best defense for 2006.

I don't think Tennessee defense has the ability to dominate their portion of the ballgame the way that the Ravens do, or a healthy Patriots squad. So what happens when Vince Young and the offensive unit aren't getting anywhere against a stingy defense? Time of possesion works against the Titans defense, then those 3rd and 4th quarter TDs from the opposing team start to tack on against a tired defense. So I don't like the Titan's chances of making the superbowl.

And for the record, yes the Titans Travis Henry did get over 100 yards and a TD against the Ravens in 06, but while I don't like to make excuses, do keep in mind that was the one game where Ray Lewis was out (as was his back-up Mike Smith, so the Ravens had to call up an inexperienced 3rd stringer from the practice squad Dennis Haley). Also keep in mind that the Ravens still managed to escape with the win in Tennessee as well.

The Titans are still in a rebuilding phase. I wouldn't expect any real play off hopes for at least a few seasons. Vince Young will be fun too watch as they build the team around him.

No...Due to the fact that Rookie Of The Year winner Vince Young will be on this years edition of "Madden 08" will more than likely suffer the "madden curse" that has happen to all who have been on the cover of madden and be injured during the season for ether the whole season or a couple games... And i dont think they have a back up sufficient enough to take them to the super bowl

Also the loss of adam "pacman" jones and travis henry will definetly show in the teams morale/game wins....

Sorry buddy!

Not anybody with any kind of football sense. Titans are still a team building. They'll be fortunate to go 8-8 again, although I think 7-9 is more likely.

they may be, yet I might desire to pass with the two the Giants, or (the ideal) Falcons. ATL has an truly close div. and are at the back of by using some million recreation, so they are in a position to nevertheless make it to the playoffs, yet Giants have proved that even although they have lost a million recreation, they are nevertheless the ideal in protection

Nope, no superbowl. 9-7 record at best and that won't be good enough to make the playoffs in the AFC. Sorry.
