Its great move if he stays and isn't disgruntled. Would you have made the move Bears fans.

On a side note. Its sad for Alan Branch. He only went into the draft cause he had a great chance of joining his favorite team (the redskins) and how the draft went, if the redskin got briggs, there is not doubt in my mind they would have grabbed him at that late first round pick.

I'm not a Bears fan, but Brady Quinn for Rex Grossman would be a hell of an upgrade, whether you think Quinn sucks or not.:)

Im a Bears fan from Ca...the reason we wont sign Briggs cause he wants more money....if they would do the trade your talking about...we would be in the same position...we would still have to sign that pick for more then 7 million just like briggs.....and thats what the bears don WANT!!

As a Bears fan who bleeds orange. It was a good move we didn't do the Redskin trade. We need to move Briggs for a QB period. Grossman's train derailed.

No, that was a little to high of and pick to move up to. They should have traded him to Carolina, for like there 14th pick, and could have picked up Patrick Willis to fill his spot easily.

Yes, who knows if we're going to get anything out of him now.
