as a bronco fan, i do believe he will go into the hall of fame
he was an undrafted rookie coming into the 1995 season, and played with one of the best QBs to ever play the game, and he had 8 seasons with 1000+ yards recieving (6 straight seasons with 1000+yds recieving), he is one of the most hard-working and classy guys in the NFL today, he is also a 2-time superbowl champion (having 1000+yds recieving each of those superbowl years)
rod smith i think is one of the most successful players not to be drafted and have a great career, i also think he is one of the best WRs to play the game
i mean come on having over 800 career receptions, 11,000 career recieving yards, and 70 career total TDs (he is the broncos all-time leading reciever) and not getting drafted, now thats insane
i do hope i the next some odd years that he will get inducted into the hall of fame

I'm sorry, but I think that he will not make the hall of fame. As of right now there are only two Wide Receiver that played in the 90's to be inducted into the hall of fame. Even though Rod Smith is having a great career with 68 TDs he is still very under ratted. Also I think there are more deserving players in his era to make the Hall Of Fame like Chris Carter and Tim Brown. But, hopefully one day he will get in.

I would say no. I'm not saying he isn't deserving of the HOF, but Art Monk isn't in. Monk and Smith's stats are almost identical right now (Monk has more catches and yards, Smith has 3 more TD catches). Unless Smith has a huge year, which is iffy considering he's having problems recovering from surgery, I think he'll end up in the same HOF purgatory as Art Monk.

He could but not first ballot. He's had an amazing career considering where he came from and work he's put into himself. His numbers are HOF material but that alone doesn't always make it. He has never been a flashy type of WR, just more of the solid, consistant, always there when you need him kind.

Yes!
But I may be biased. Go Broncos!
He does hold Denver Broncos franchise records in career receptions, touchdown catches and receiving yards.
Yes, I totally just copy/pasted that, but it's true none the less!

i like him...........but no
hes put up very good numbers, but was never the best in the league at his position........he was never elite........
overshadowed by guys like Harrison, Moss, Owens,Bruce, Holt.......
how can you go to the Hall if you were never in the top 5 in the NFL at your position?
