I hope this is an opinion question and you weren't looking for some statistical break down of all 22 slots on all 32 teams. Any way here are my 5. Other than the Colts on top, they are in no particular order. Notice that a couple teams need to be justified.
COLTS -- I don't think I need to explain.
SAINTS -- Reggie Bush. Nothing else needed.
49ERS -- Doing big things on both sides of the ball... Gore and Alex Smith... they will both have awesome box scores and stats this year...
PATRIOTS -- They were fine at the end of last season, but needed some aggressive wide outs, and tweak the D.
Honestly I don't want to narrow it down to just one, so there you have it... A TOP FOUR with several honorable mentions.
COWBOYS, only head coach change worries me.
TITANS, Vince will do great things this year, and the rest of his career. (HOPEFULLY a long lived one!)
CHARGERS, last but certainly not least. LT and the great additions and success of key role players. 10-12 win season for sure.

1. New England Patriots: They made all the right decisions in the off-season...Dang, man, they were good last year...But look to be Much better this year.
2. San Diego Chargers: No more Schottenhiemer...Maybe they can win in the playoffs now?
3. New Orleans Saints: These boys should have won the title last year...Oh well.
4. Indianapolis Colts: These guys are always good...Even if they did trade off/lose some of their better players...They always seem to do well.
5. Chicago Bears: Go ahead...Laugh...they are WAY over-rated...Only made it far last year because they had a very easy schedule and a very lucky game against the Saints...But, now they are hungry for a title after losing the Super Bowl...They wont make it again, but they are going to try insanely hard.

1) New England Patriots - They've finally opened up their checkbooks and picked up adalus thomas on defense and scored randy moss just for a 4th round draft pick. Tom Brady will get the ball to randy, theres no doubt in my mind.
2) San Diego Chargers - 11 returning pro bowlers from last year and a young Philip Rivers who will only get better.
3) Denver Broncos - Picking up 2 strong defensive lineman and Dre Bly (who will complement Champ Bailey) will help their defensive pressure from a year ago. Also, Travis Henry will add 1500 yards if he stays healthy. I wouldnt be suprised if Jay Cutler is an AFC probowler this year either.
4) Chicago Bears - Dominant Defense. Still need an answer to their QB trouble, but a solid running game behind Cedric Benson will be present. Clearly the best team in the NFC
5) New Orlean Saints - Explosive Passing game led by Drew Brees with an even more threatening running game with deuce and bush. They could easily be a top 3 team, but they havent proved anything in the playoffs yet

1. Pats- still have Tom B an elite qb, stellar D, o-line that likes Brady, and added some talent during the offseason.
2. Colts- Peyton and company are almost the best in football
3. Saints- explosive offense, and their D isn't too bad either
4. Ravens- scary defense, and a decent offense.
5. Chargers- their only downfall is their headcoach, if Turner wasn't their coach they'd probably be at the top of this list.

1.Patriots
2.Chargers
3.Bears
4.Colts
5.Cowboys
At number 5 is the Cowboys. Cowboys are going to be the biggest surprise in the NFL in 2008. Wade Phillps will help this team be a playoff contender. Their defensive is also going to be a big surprise in 2008
At number 4 is the Colts. The Colts are going to be a tough team to beat this year. After the Superbowl, the Colts lost key players like Cato June, Dominic Rhodes, and Mike Doss. their defense might be bad, however they are still going to be the top offensive teams in the NFL
At number 3 is DA Bears. The Bears are still going to be the team to beat in the NFC. Defense is going to be tough after acquiring Adam Archuleta from the Redskins. Chris Benson will make a big impact on offense.
At number 2 is the Chargers. Their defense will still affect every team they play against with their QB sacks. LT still be the highlight reel of the team.
At number 1 is the Patriots. This team is the hardest team to face this year. After signing Donte Stallworth and acquiring Randy Moss from the Raiders, these two players will help Tom Brady in his throwing game. Then Lawrence Mauroney will be a big impact on the Pats after losing Corey Dillon of retirement. In the free agent market Patriots also signed Adalius Thomas, which will help the Patriots in the LB core.

AFC East: The Patriots hands down the most complete team in the NFL
AFC West: The Chiefs have had there shots at the playoffs but with a big WR and LJ and Huard in the mix they should take it in the west.... VERY TOUGH DIVISION... TOUGHEST IN THE NFL...
AFC North: The Baltimore Ravens, Ray Lewis and his team has one last shot to make it to the big show before he gets his retirement party on!
AFC South: The Jacksonville Jaguars, With Maurice Jones Drew and Their defense they should dominate the South... With the Colts suffering a major hang over....
______________________________...
NFC East: Iam going to Say the Washington Redskins. Their defense looks ready for domination and with Clinton Portis and Ladell betts and that recieving corps along with Campbell... Should Be Deadly
NFC West: Going to have to go with the STL Rams... Stephen Jackson, Bulger, Holt and Bruce are ready for their run to the Superbowl...
NFC North: Iam going to say The Vikings they have a 2 back system now with Peterson in the mix along with a Dominating Defense and 4 New Rookie WR's...
NFC South: N.O. Saints... They will surely show how they can dominate the south With Bush/McAllister still going and Colston Catching like crazy should be a great season for them!!

2. Indy Colts-defending champs, but don't have a prayer against the Patriots after losing their running game and other key pieces
3. San Diego-a poser team under Schottenheimer, who always blows in the playoffs, and that is why he is not coaching anymore
4. New Orleans Saints-Drew Brees and Reggie Bush are 2 young offensive weapons who are getting scary
5 Chicago Bears-NFC champs last year

1. Patriots: Already fanatastic and dynamic team with experience...completely revamped their main weakness last year (WR's) with 2 elite WRs (Moss and Stallworth) along with a few others.
2. Chargers: Best team last year did not lose much...Vincent Jackson should get a start and immediately help out the receiving core.
3. Colts: Best offense in the league...loss of Cato June will hurt them though.
4. Bears: Every year they manage to get a stud out of the draft and their hole at TE is going to help Grossman be able to expand his weapons on offense. Not to mention, even at a loss of Briggs (doubtful), Urlacher is one of the best MLB in the league and makes everyone around him better, including Brigg's replacement.
5. Saints: Addressed some defensive issues along with picking up some guys to add to an already explosive offense.
