Have you seen this guy run, he runs faster than most the runningbacks in the leauge, he runs stronger and tougher than Larry Johnson, and he plays like he is invincible.

He could have anywhere from 800 - 1200 yard depending on how many carries he has to split with Chester Taylor. But I think He'll put up around 1100 yards while Chester Taylor puts up somewhere around 600. They Viking have a pretty good backfield now that I think about it.

they shouldn't baby him or pamper him. If his collar-bone is good, throw him in. I hope they use the pro-set split back using him and Taylor. If they do incorporate more of this, it will only help Mewelde Moore's style as well. Mix-n-match baby! How do you prepare for a jack-rabbit (Moore)and still respect Petersons power and speed. Then Taylor, with hard-nosed running between the tackles. I like how he always gets a couple yards when theres nothing there. They need to utilize all of them.
Nick V has a good estimate.
Now for the passing game providing balance...

for the safety of the game i think Adrian Peterson should not participate in any kind of sport because he might kill someone when he runs the ball....seriously. i tell you from my heart i don't think i have ever seen a running back with such an anger, authority, towards tacklers when he runs. i have seen a lot of running backs but he is just a beast sent by god to punish all football players or would be tacklers for not knowing how to hit. every time he see a tackler he looks at him like how dare you come up to me and then he just demolishes them. by the way he will get over 1700 yards guarantee. i am a Texas longhorns fan and we all know for sure that ou will look like a ***** if Adrian Peterson wasn't there. i remember on this years red river shootout rivalry game i prayed to god and fasted for six days to not let Adrian Peterson have a good game because i knew if he had a bad game it's a guarantee we would win. even though he had over a hundred yard game and two touchdown, god was merciful enough to let us win. anyways, pound for pound Adrian Peterson is the best running back to come out of college. all hail to Adrian Peterson!!!!!!!!!!!!

ill go with 856 yards and 8 touchdowns. He will get the short yardarge and goalline carries, with Chester Taylor as the main RB. I believe Chester will have 1085 yards to so, with Peterson gaining carries as the year progresses

If he stays healthy, and that may be a big IF, he'll get about 600 to 700 yards with splitting carries with Taylor. Taylor will still be the main RB.

I'll say 600 yards. Expect Taylor to carry the load to allow Peterson to fully heal.

Arkee Whitlock, the free agent from Southern Illinois, might be starting in front of him. I'd say maybe 227 yards as the third stringer for Peterson.
