A lot of sources have said that Bellicheck will probably retire within the next few seasons. The patriots GM scott pioli has had a few offers to coach other teams but has turned them down. Is it possible that he is waiting for Bellicheck to reitre because he wants to coach the Patriots?

For some reason, whenever the college basketball tournament comes around it makes me wonder just how great it would be if Division I Football were able to have a playoff. Obviously it wouldn't be on the same scale, but it would be incredible. The major bowls could still have their yearly rotation in who hosts the semi-finals and final games. You could do a 16 team playoff, let a committee sit down and decide who gets in. It adds 4 games to the season, but it's no different then the NFL or Division I-A, I-AA.

And I'm well aware that Division I is no where near getting rid of the BCS, I'm just entertaining the thought.

So do you like the BCS or would rather have a playoff system? And why?

If you pick a team like the Raiders or Lions explain why. I do not just want their record. We all know how they did.

I play linebacker for my high school football team and I am finally a senior and can pick my own number. I started both my soph and jr years with the #28, but I am not really feeling that anymore. Throw out some numbers that would look good on a short 5'10 linebacker like myself.

It takes a lot to eat like a champion. You've got to stand tall, be proud, and eat big. It takes even more to think like one: You have to know stuff. Lots of it. Especially when it comes to football. So go ahead. Test your chanpiontude. Sure, that's not a real word. But you knew that, champ. See? You're ahead of the game already.
