If you are following the team here...
the lions have taken WR in the first round three years straight (except for last year). One made it (Roy WIlliams) the other two (Charles Rodgers, and Mike Williams) have been complete busts.
Personally, I would hate to see the lions destroy a young mans future such as Calvin's. On the other hand, It would be interesting to see a "Jerry Rice" type in a Mike Martz offense (Torry Holt). Politically though, could the GM Matt Millenmake the pick and survive?

WHAT WOULD YOU DO if you were the GM/fan of the Lions?

I know that Texas and Oklahoma will have the big 12 wrapped up, and you can never count out USC. But who else will make the defending champ. Gators shake in their boots?

make sure that he will probably available, and explain why you chose this pick over the other players. (remember the cowboys have the 22nd pick)

Coach Gibbs does not need another mouth piece to run the Washington Offense, A guy that is in the Hall of fame, and has 3 Super Bowl Wins, with 3 different QBs should do just fine.

He may not have been "fantastic" but he is a threat at offense and can make 3 Cornerbacks cover him up, meaning the backs could run and the recievers could catch a long one and break off.

I mean they need two QB's, so like Chris Weinke and trade for Trent Green and draft a QB like Brady Quinn and JeMarcus Russell, he could be QB of the future, and then have a good free agency of O-lineman and draft some. There set at defense they just need a O-lineman they have Dominic Rhodes and Lamont Jordan. Is there hope?

I'll go Curtis. No looming substance abuse program issues, much better hands, just about as fast, no hamstring issues, similar in age, runs great routes, extremely intelligent.
