Tight Wad Ted just does business that way. If there was something that was a really good fit for the packers in free agency he would have gone and got it. Thompson is a draft Guru and there is no need to over pay for an average talent pool in free agency. The only positions that had talent in FA where in places the packers already had filled. I believe Thompson will just plug in a couple of last years draft picks like Will Blackmon and Marviel Underwood in the safety position, creating addition by subtraction. He made a mistake with Manuel in free agency last year and taking him out will only help the team. The draft will take care of itself-Ted knows what he is doing. This team will make the playoffs next year.

I didn't get the impression he was waiting on free agents to come, but maybe it's the fact they are the almighty Packers and he thinks everybody wants to come to a classy prestigious organization?

he believes in building in the draft he does not like to sign free agents which makes me not like him. The pack could use some proven players but don't ever sign any. and personally it pisses me off a little

GO PACK!
