make sure that he will probably available, and explain why you chose this pick over the other players. (remember the cowboys have the 22nd pick)

I like the Cowboys to address free safety with this pick. Brandon Merriweather of Miami or Michael Griffin of Texas would seem logical choices. Merriweather is probably the better cover guy, and with Roy Williams already providing more than adequate run support with less than average coverage skills, Merriweather would be the better fit.

Since they have the 22nd pick and their major weak area is the offensive line, I think they will take either one of two OL in the draft that will probably still be around at #22. One is G/C Josh Beekman of Boston College who could contend for a starting job right away on the Cowboys inconsistent line. The other is Penn State OT, Levi Brown who might still be available since he is an inconsistent blocker and needs some work. Brown has the tools to succeed, just has to develop. Either one of these guys will be a step in correcting a weak area of the team.

DeMarcus Tyler, NC State. Ferguson is getting old, and need depth at position.

Or

CB Aaron Ross/CB Hughes. Same here. CB Glenn getting old.

Or

S Nelson/ S Meriweather No capable FS on team.

You can't go wrong picking one of these position. NT/FS/CB
