Yes. The Raiders don't have a quarterback, and even if they draft one they don't have an offensive line, so the QB would get killed like they did last season. And if they ever managed to get a QB and a decent offensive line, you gotta have a decent back to give the threat of the run and open up the passing game.

It all depends on who they draft. If they go with Russell they might as well go on keep him. Moss wasn't happy with Shell and now you have a offensive-minded coach in former USC Offensive Coordinator Lane Kiffin. Plus he's young and I know Porter is already content with sticking it out and seeing what happens. Moss may do the same. Russell has a cannon of an arm and it'll be interesting trying to see LB's try to take down a 6'6", 265 pound QB. He'd fair much much better then Walters.
If they pick up Calvin Johnson they'll use Moss to acquire a QB I would think. But either way, there's no sense in having the top WR in the draft if you don't even have a QB to throw to him. It'll be interesting to see what they do.
And to be real honest, Moss is about the only player I know of that can complain about his situation. He's actually tried to stick it out in Oakland and been relatively quiet about it the whole time. The Raiders don't pick a QB for their top pick, then if I'm Moss I'm taking a pay cut to get the heck out of Oakland.

I'm not a Raiders fan, I'm a Niners fan. The Niners had the same problem with TO. If I was running the team, I would send people like Moss or TO to the most hopeless franchise in football....the Cards. Yes, I know some of you are going to say that the Raiders are a bad team. They might be, however, like the Niners they are a franchise that has its down years but they always reemerge. The Cards will always be the Cards. They are a terrible franchise. The deserve Moss. Moss is washed up anyway.

the answer to that is yes.. to the packers. everytime i hear anything on the news about the possibiltiy of moss being traded to green bay the "packer fans" are against it. But if your a packer why would you not want possibly the best WR in the game, even though his stats of recent years don't reflect that. (RAIDERS SUCK they have no QB or OL and al davis is still around :\ ) Dont you packer fans remember all the times moss owned us, on monday nights and in the playoffs, and when he mooned the croud i laughed. Then also our recieving core would definitely be the best in the league, driver, moss, jennings and brett loves to go deep. And he would make up for our lack of a run game next season since the pack do not have a proven starting RB as of now

I don't know why most Packer fans are complaining, I love the Pack and I would love to have Randy Moss. Oakland has to realize that Randy will not play his heart out on a bad team. Oakland is a bad team. If he is traded to an up and coming Packer team with Brett Favre, Randy will play and Oakland will get good draft picks. But Al Davis and Ted Thompson both are picky so I give it a 20% chance of happening.

Of course he's a threat. I still think that he is one of the top receivers in the league. But it's no good having a great receiver, if he isnt gonna play hard. The Raiders need to realize that they can get some pretty good value out of Randy Moss, and that keeping him around is not going to help.

I get the impression that Moss has completely lost interest...for that reason alone he should be sent packing. If he is not mentally in the game, he is nothing more than an over paid floater...I'd compare him to a hockey goon, if you will, one who really doesn't do much for the game other than occasionally getting the crowd going with one play. Difference being that Moss would catch one deep pass while the goon would sucker punch someone.
The real problem, though, is who in their right mind would trade for him? I've heard the Packers, but I think he carries too much baggage with him now for any team.

It's not really about Randy Moss, the Raiders are 6.3 million dollars over the cap. They need some money to sign their draft picks, and if they go with Russel at number one and don't trade down they will need to dump Moss' $21 million (over 2 years) salary. If they do trade him I think he is going to Green Bay who is about $20 million under the cap and seems to be saving that money for some big move.

Where Moss is right now isnt doing him too good. When he moved to Oakland he basically fell off the map. I've always like Randy Moss, at specifically comparing him to TO. I never like TO tho, I was kinda pissed when he went to Philly. But now that he's in Dallas, I'm happy again.

If they get Russell, I don't know why they would trade Moss; furthermore, I don't know why he'd want to be traded. This is his chance to get back into a high throwing offense.
