Top 10 would take a bit of research and would still be debatable.

But the answer for the best pick of all-time has got to be Joe Montana. The 49ers drafted arguably the greatest QB of all-time.

Four Superbowl wins ('82, '85, '89, '90)
Three Superbowl MVPs (never threw an INT in a Superbowl)
Two MVPs ('89 and '90)
40,551 career passing yds
273 career TDs
92.3 career QB rating

And all that came from a 3rd round draft pick...Montana was selected with the 82nd pick in the draft out of Notre Dame. That's what I call getting some bang for your buck.

The 49ers getting Joe Montana in the 3rd round of the 1979 draft was the best draft pick for a team, ever.

Walter Payton started with Chicago and finished in Chicago as the all time leading rusher during the that time.

John Elway started with Denver and finished in Denver on top.

Barry Sanders started with Detroit and finished in Detriot as one of the top running backs to ever play the game.

Deion Sanders was a huge impact game breaking cornerback/return specialist on every team he played for during his prime years.

Darrell Green was a top career defensive back from his rookie season with the Washington Redskins to his last season with the same team.

Lawrence Taylor literally took away the glory of being an offensive player by dominating quaterbacks and running backs and turning a game around single handedly.
LT is the reason why I enjoyed playing defense back in the day.

Dan Marino was on fire since his rookie season with Miami. He ended his career with Miami.

Jim Brown with the Cleveland Browns from start to finish.

Peyton Manning has become one of the best pocket QB's of all time.

This may seem a little biased but the 2 Dallas Cowboy QB's Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman who were drafted high became Superbowl QB's.

10. Joe Greene
9. Emmitt Smith
8. O.J. Simpson
7. Roger Staubach
6. Terry Bradshaw
5. Franco Harris
4. Jerry Rice
3. Jim Brown
2. Walter Payton

John Elway doesn't count because he was drafted by the Colts. Honorable mention goes to Troy Aikman and Barry Sanders. It's so hard to narrow it down to 10. Also, Marcus Allen, Lawrence Taylor, and Phil Simms have to be mentioned. I based my picks on how they impacted their team.

The top draft pick of all time has to be tom brady of the new england patriots. He was the 199th over all selection in the 6th round of the 2000 draft. He was drafted after quaterbacks such as Spergon Wynn, Tee Martin, and Giovanni Carmazzi (Who?). In his first year starting, second year in the league, he lead the patriots, who had been 5-11 the previous season, to beat the Rams in the superbowl, making it the 2nd biggest underdog superbowl victory ever behind Joe Namaths super bowl 3 win. In total, he won 3 superbowls in 4 years and was the MVP of 2 of them. Not to shabby for the 199th overall selection

Hands down Tom Brady

Top ten is too hard, but I believe the top three are Rice, Montana, and Barry Sanders in that order. I say Rice over Montana because he could play wide receiver better than anyone else in the world could do anything.

Anyone who puts a kicker of any kind on this top ten is a retard.
