No they won't. The just have too many holes to fill. Trent Green or Chris Weinke would not help them at all. Oakland needs a mobile QB, because with that O-Line they are going to get pressured a lot. The O-Line is not going to get markedly better overnite and without a line that can protect a quarterback its going to be hard to win games. I figure they'll be 4-12 or maybe 5-11 this year and 0-6 in the AFC West.

The Oakland Raiders have been a doormat team since their loss in the Super Bowl. Being in a conference such as the AFC West really hurts them. The Raiders are looking at a very tough schedule(Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, San Diego Chargers(twice) Denver Broncos(twice)). Even with a first round draft pick the player that they pick (Brady Quinn, Jamarcus Russel, Calvin Johnson) probably won't mature for another 2-3 years. I don't see the Raiders winning more than 5 games next years.

Not as long as they have a offensive line that my 5 year old cousin could break through. I think they'll end up with more then 2 wins, but with everything they need to fill I can't see them finishing with a winning season. But then again, this is the NFL, so you just never know.
The Bears were absolutely awful not that long ago but with a couple good years of building it up they've done well for themselves (Unfortunately they're in the process of tearing it down, but that's a whole other discussion). They also were able to get it done without a stellar Quarterback. So the Raiders have a little hope, but it's going to take a few years or Al Davis dieing....whichever comes first.

They could if they can fill all the remaining holes and bring back a winning atitude. But it may take awhile because there are already 3 very good teams in there div.so in order to have a winning season they must find a way to win a least some of there div.games and I don't see that as very likely for a few years.

no they just suck. the AFC is a lot tougher than the NFC. 2 wildcards go to bengals or ravens whicheverdoesnt take the division and broncos or patriots (jets are winning the division this year) and the wildcards from the AFC last season had as good records as all but 2 playoff teams in the NFC. they dont have much chance

If they want a chance in Playoffs, i think they should trade their old QB to the Seahawks Backup QB, he is really really good. and in my opinion i think he is even better that Matt Hasselbeck.

no no and no.
even if they drafted one of the two top QB's, they wouldn't be ready
Peyton Manning went 3-13 his rookie year, so don't be surprised if they dont do that well

no, even with all the added firepower on their roster. They cant compete in the toughest division (chargers, broncos, chiefs) in football where two teams almost always makes the playoffs,

One bay area team will finish at the top of its division. I'll give you a hint....it's not the Raiders.
