Calvin Johnson right off the back....we are talking about a guy who is getting more press as a wide receiver going into the draft then anyone else. He has amazing speed: a 4.35 (40 time) with borrowed shoes, has a incredible leaping ability, fantastic hands, and is a big 6'5'' very built guy. He's nickname fits him well too, the freak!

Calvin Johnson by far. Calvin Johnson is the best player in this draft. Adrian Peterson has a style of play that a draft has every year. Calvin Johnson like players do not come around too often.

Calvin Johnson is a one in a life time receiver. He has size, strength, speed, and a great catching ability. Unlike Peterson, he is not injury prone, and I see him as becoming one of the top wide receivers in the NFL.

Peterson is better at his position. Johnson never dominated a game as he should have and Peterson still gained over 100 yards a game with 8 men in the box.

That's a tough one. If I had to choose I would say Calvin because great college receivers tend to be more NFL ready than great college backs. Mainly because you just never know how a back can handle the constant pounding(20-25 carries a game) over a 16 game NFL schedule.

From what I hear, Calvin Johnson can be a Pro-Bowl caliber receiver the moment he sets foot on the field.

I don't think you can get a fair judgment now; they haven't even played an NFL down. On the draft boards both players are #1 at their position. I think Adrian Peterson has the better chance of being the impact player just because it is easier for RB's to make an impact than WR's. WR's have to rely on a decent QB to make the throws. RB's just need the ball handed off to them.
