What steps do you take? This is for an adult, not youth. Thanks in advance. : )

After Bob Sapp won a fight against Kemo, Bob Sapp took a swing at Mike Tyson after the fight at the Beligio in Vegas when Tyson stepped into the ring to congradulate Sapp, but Sapp didnt hit him because officials pulled him back. Tyson didnt even seem to care. Then when they gave Bob Sapp the mike he said, "They might call you kid dynamite, but mess with me and i'll put your fuse out." Then Tyson said, " Sign the contract big boy, sign the contract." Then Sapp said, " I'll sign it in blood punk where you at?" Im guessing that Sapp would lose because he cant take a hit and Tyson would just kick his ***. Even though I would be rooting for Sapp to win.

Do you just keep hitting till your skin streangthens? I ussually have wraps on sometimes use gloves. I don't like using the gloves and the wrap just don't help much. How often should I bag train? Just getting back into it, so I'm soft, been keeping to the weights.

Yet he and Ali were pretty evenly matched, and Ali beat Foreman. Could someone who knows something about boxing explain this?
Thank you.

The way Hearns folded up always seemed kind of odd. Looked as if he'd just run about 30 sprints in a row the way he collapsed. Do you think these 2 combatants, in the era before drug testing, were on something that affected their performance? Or was Hearns ill? Take a look at Hearn's body language just before the fight.

Just wondering...I know doouble knockdowns have happened before during a fight, but I haven't seen one that has ended a fight? Can anyone name a fight for me and/or let me know how this would be scored? I assume a draw...

I enjoy boxing-in a very broad sense. I like to watch fights, I like to read about the history. I love the sport and I vaule the practicality of the self defense. I'm even finding some fun in trading leather with my friends in the backyard.

But my concern is this; my friends and I aren't going to a real boxing gym, we're just messing around at our leisure-but we all value boxing skills, and are trying hard to maintain real form and technique.

The sparring matches are improving us as fighters, but maybe not as boxers. I worry we could be practicing bad habits without having a pro trainer there to correct us.

Aside from obvious basics like practices the boxing moves in front of a mirror and working the bags, and trying to maintain proper form while actually sparring, are there any tips or advice for an amateur boxer to help train as a boxer, and not just a no talent brawler?
