Pipino Cuevas vs Rocky Graziano. Who wins?

In my opinion, Pipino would be just a little too much for Rocky. Pipino spent time in the gym religiously training for a fight and even when he wasn't training for a fight he'd be in the gym at least three times a week for a couple of hours. The other thing that Pipino had going for him was he was the better boxer, knowing how to distance himself and work his devastating left hook to the body.

Rocky's antics are legendary he stated himself that "I didn't like going to the gym, I'd much rather be hanging out with the fellas." I've had the opportunity to sit down and talk to Rocky's good friend Joey Giardello and Joey said "The biggest thing that that Rocky and I had going for us is, we were just tough kids and we got by, we would have been great if we trained."

This fight wouldn't go 7 rounds. Pipinos overall better boxing ability and sharper punches would land more often on a tough but out gunned Rocky. Rocky would have some success with looping right hand early but Pipino overall work rate would take over in the 5th. Pipino stops Rocky late in the 6th.

Who ever walked away from this one would have paid dearly. A sure fire KO but a coin toss as to who would land first. Neither guy knew how to back up, and both defined machismo. I'd give Cuevas the edge in boxing skill, but would it matter with Rock pressuring? I'm gonna take some heat for this one, but I think Pipino's counter punching would turn the tide, and Graziano's aggression would work against him in this one.

Cuevas would have out boxed Graziano. Too quick. Decision to Cuevas. Cuevas's son is 11-0 at 140 lbs.
