Just wondering...I know doouble knockdowns have happened before during a fight, but I haven't seen one that has ended a fight? Can anyone name a fight for me and/or let me know how this would be scored? I assume a draw...

A double-knockout is extremely rare. I've seen a few double knockdowns, but one or both boxers have always gotten up. In researching this question for you, I became aware of a few actual double knockouts, where both boxers were counted out. Those bouts were ruled to be technical draws (no one wins, no one loses).

I agree with Lisa H. If you're looking for an example, I'd use the one of 1957. This was the first instance of a double knockout in South Africa. The bout took place in 1957. The fighters were Kalib Kalele and Mzonke Mensah-Bonsu. Both men landed power ahots at the same time and they didn't get up after that.

I have only heard of Double Knockdowns, even they are extreamly rare, but a double knockout would probably be either a draw or No Contest, usually a Rematch would have to follow

I read an article in an old issue of The Ring which stated that people are trying to make Women's boxing an Olympic Sport, which to me is fair since women do fight professionally. I think Ali retired rather than face Anne Wolfe, and who can blame her? She hit like a ton of bricks? And I think Martin is retired and is back home in West Virginia.
