After Bob Sapp won a fight against Kemo, Bob Sapp took a swing at Mike Tyson after the fight at the Beligio in Vegas when Tyson stepped into the ring to congradulate Sapp, but Sapp didnt hit him because officials pulled him back. Tyson didnt even seem to care. Then when they gave Bob Sapp the mike he said, "They might call you kid dynamite, but mess with me and i'll put your fuse out." Then Tyson said, " Sign the contract big boy, sign the contract." Then Sapp said, " I'll sign it in blood punk where you at?" Im guessing that Sapp would lose because he cant take a hit and Tyson would just kick his ***. Even though I would be rooting for Sapp to win.

Actually if the fight went on today I'd have to go with Bob Sapp. He may lack some endurance but so does Tyson these days and I don't think Tyson could get the opportunity to hit the monster, Bob Sapp. Sapp would over power or just annihilate him in my opinion. In Tyson's prime it would be another story though.

At the time this was being talked about, I doubt many people even though this fight would happen in Japan (due to Tyson's rape conviction). Japanese officials wouldn't have let him into the country. The reason it was being talked about so much at the time was because Tyson was at the point where he really needed the money (just like now).

Bob Sapp is a massive celebrity in Japan (which would ensure that any such fight is a big financial draw, which would perhaps ensure Tyson of a big payday), but apart from his size, is a pretty indifferent MMA fighter. I'm sure if these fight even happened when it was being touted, Tyson would have obliterated Sapp inside two minutes...just like Mirko 'CroCop' Filipovic did. But now...I'm not so sure. It may depend on how much Tyson trains, and wants/ needs the money. By some accounts, Sapp is getting a bit beter at his ground fighting, so my guess is that he would seek to take down Tyson early, and try and pummel him, or try and tap Tyson.

The blogbaba isn't a big Tyson fan, and if Sapp was locked in a phone booth with Mike today, Mike might have a problem. If Tyson was in any kind of physical shape, he should put Sapp to sleep with either hand. I always though David Tua or even Eric Esch (Buttebean) would have given Mike trouble, I never considered Mike a "great" heavyweight. Sapp isn't a boxer in the classical sense, and doesn't have much of a chin.

Tyson by KO inside of 1 round in a boxing match
Even money coin toss in a street fight behind the bar.

I've never heard of Bob Sapp, though I did see the longest yard. Anyhow, I watched some videos of his on youtube and quickly saw this weak chin a couple people mentioned. Even with how deteriorated Tyson's skills are, I would give Sapp next to no chance. Tyson is still too fast and too strong. The men who beat Tyson beat a messed up Tyson, but to their respective credit, they know how to box, throw punches, and proved they can take punches, though I think Holyfield may be the only fighter who Tyson didn't significantly hurt (minus the bite). Sapp is more or less garbage. Maybe, and I mean maybe in MMA rules he could do it, but boxing or on the street, I doubt it, seriously.

why would you rote for Sapp..he is a big loser....as for fighting tyson..the guy is retired and in rehab...why do people still talk about him like he is still fighting...put sapp in the ring aganst wlad or vitali klitschko..that would be like child abuse....and even in kick boxing...espically vitali..because he was a former kicking boxing world champion while very young before he started pro boxing.
