Basketball - June 2007

when im running for a layup and jump with my left foot i can almost dunk, but when i jump with my right foot i can jump 7-8 inches less, i tested this without the ball too, i can touch rim easily when jumping off my left foot with a running start, i can get a little over the net when jumping with my right, when i work out, i work both legs equally, i jump more off my left foot because im right handed, but how can i fix this and be able to jump high with my left foot too

I know this question is stupid, but what's the benifit of going into the NBA draft or how exactly the system works. I mean if I were Durant or Oden, could I just say I am not going into the draft because I want to be in the championship teams? Then I could just wait the those teams to offer me contracts...

I am sure it would not work this way (otherwise noone would want to go through the draft). How does it work? Are you gauranteed more money going through the draft or sth?

I know his return to coaching has a lot to do with his health but what are the odds he'll retire just to get out of the mess the Lakers are in right now?
And how has he managed to be so quiet about what's going on with Kobe? He said a couple of months ago that he was sure Kobe would stay in LA but that was the last I heard. How are he and Kobe getting along these days? Has Kobe said anything publicly about Jackson? Anybody know?

Don't tell me how much you love or hate Kobe Bryant, please; that's not the question. Regardless of what anyone thinks of him, it looks like the Lakers have a big mess on their hands.
Is trading him a legitimate option? Chances look pretty slim since he doesn't want to go to certain teams, other teams don't want him, and most teams can't afford him.
Is bringing in another established star to help him out an option or will they look at the mess he's helped create and decide they don't want to get into it?
What on earth are the Lakers gonna do to dig themselves out of this?

im a bulls fan so i gotta go with the bulls myself.
they had a dominate rebounder in rodman great shooters in jordan, pippen,kerr,paxston,grant,armstrong,and they used to beat the spurs everytime with david robinson who i think is alot better spur than any they got now.

when im shooting from anywhere on the court i seem to do a lot of airballs. im not that heavy a person so my arms arent particularly strong. ive the right technique down but my shots just lack "oomph"
if i keep working on becoming heavier and stronger will this help?
