not unless you split it with reliable friends and give them the username and password. if its the up to date sports news that you want, then check out rotoworld.com it's for fantasy sports but it has all the latest news.

You can get it for free with a subscription to the magazine, which is pretty cheap. I've done that, and found that I've clicked on stories every so often. I'm not sure I'd pay extra for it, but as long as I'm getting the magazine, it's nice to have. I missed reading Peter Gammons, and now I can catch him regularly.

That thing is whack keep your money for better things like charity.
