Not long ago was a mess with the 2nd round of the NBA western playoffs invovling 2 teams (dallas and san antonio i believe) that shouldve been in the conference finals, not semi finals. so the rules changed and i think now it works like: 3 division leaders and 1 wild card team get top 4 seeds, then next 4 by record. This year the east is a mess, central division is stacked. how does seeding work? who will get home court advantage? if the bulls play the raptors 1st round, have a lower seed but better record, who will get home court? is home court determined by record or by seed? and were the changes made to the frequency of home/away games, is it still 2,2,1,1,1 (home, away, home, away, home) or is it 2,3,2? does it change for the championship?
