It is possible for them to make the Finals, but only by a slim chance. The Eastern conference has many playoff-oriented teams. The game of the playoffs are also much more diferrent compared to the regular season. The competition gets tougher. I think the Cavaliers are more capable and equipped to reach the Eastern Finals this season. I just don't think they can pull it off. They don't have a Finals-caliber roster. There are too many formidable teams out there for them to dominate.
The off-season will be a great start as to equipping the roster of Cleveland with more capable and decent-caliber players. James is not the problem, it's just that James does not have a great supporting cast. He needs a solid partner.

The Cavs can win the East, maybe not the most likely thing evet but possible. If they do get to the finals, it is possible that the Spurs can win the West. They are on a good roll and have more experience than anyone in the league (in the playoffs). If the Cavs face the Spurs in the finals, the Cavs will win. The Cavs did beat them both games they played this year.

They are def making the playoffs as they are 2nd in the east with a little under a month to play. They were just on a 9 game winning streak so they're playing well. I think this is the year they make it to the ECF. They were so close last year, i really think this is the year lebron takes over. However, they have no chance to beat the mavs.

no doubt they will make the playoff. if the playoffs started today they will face the nets which i think they could beat. the 2nd round could be tougher where they could face either detroit or miami, so i will say they will be out in the 2nd round. the cavs are not yet finals contender.

At times they become really sloppy, and that is exactly what may kill their game, but if they just keep doing their best they will get past Pistons.
