Hi Josh,
Ironic that you posted that question. Cause I was pondering the same thing kinda. I believe most clubs feel that Scottie doesn't have enough in the tank at this point. Even though he 's one of the Fifty greatest B-Ball players, his ability without Michael Jordon to produce in Houston and Portland really left him somewhat suspect!
For him to go on record and state that he was better than Jordon was absolutely moronic and reeked of an over-inflated ego also. It would be highly unlikely he could compete with players half his age at this juncture! Possible but not probable.

There is a team out there that could use the experience of a Scottie Pippin. Maybe not for extensive minutes but imagine how much he could help the Lakers for example. Teaching Lamar and Luke everything they need to know about the triangle and how to use it effectively along side Kobe. Not to mention young team bound for the playoffs who he could help guide on the biggest stage in basketball. However, such teams are out of the question due to the fact that Pippin is chasing another ring. Good teams like Mavs, Spurs, Suns, Pistons and even the Heat have enough experience and talent and would not be tempted by a 40 year old player…I think Charles Barley said it best…Scottie stopped playing because he wasn’t good anymore and because he’s been sitting at home he might feel better due to the fact he hasn’t been running up and down the court but he still isn't a better player. So no, the part of the nba that Scottie wants doesn't want him.

Doesn't sound like it. 41 is much too old for a small forward/shooting guard who relies on his athleticism, especially one with Pippen's recent injury history.

The Lakers were a possibility, until Odom and Walton got healthy again. Now it's looking more likely that Pippen will remain retired.
