Dallas Mavericks.....they have the best record and the only team with three 12 game win streaks in the same season!!!... no team has ever done that.
And I'm a LA Laker fan, not a Kobe Laker fan.

The best Team in the NBA is, without a doubt, the Dallas Mavericks.
I think this because they just have so many options on offense. Dirk alone is a 7 footer that no one in the league can gaurd. He's a 7 foot player who moves around like a 6'6 gaurd. He's a mismatch for every team. Outside of that, they play so well together as a team, and with scorers like Josh Howard, Jason Terry and Jerry Stackhouse they are nearly unstoppable on offense.
Secondly, they are one of the best defensive teams in the leauge as well. They just move so well and play together as a team.
They started off this season 0-4 and since then they have only lost 7 games.

They play defense night in and night out
They have a true super star in Dirk and a great support cast
of veterans and young players and a very deep bench
They shoot shoot inside and out and they hit free throws
