Some camps such as Century Cage Camp in Ohio are extremely good. The youngs ones are immersed in basketball and get quality teaching in a good facility. Some camps are not so good with poor conditions, not great instruction and are not focused on basketball (not that 100% of the time has to be basketball at a B-ball camp). Check out the camp

I've gone to several camps in my area and besides helping my skills and mind set develop for the game, it really is a lot of fun. to be honest it totally depend ont the child. if the child is focus, wants to be their, and wants to learn and pay attention and listen that child will learn but if the child dont want to go to camp if force he want not learn cause he has resentment. or if the child like having thier own way they wont learn so as i said it depend i when to a few camp, and i learnt at teh camp i want to go or i want to learn at other camp i was an *** and didnt learn.

I think it's gives them more confidence and they learn new skills. They also have a great time and it gives them a dose of independence if they stay the whole week,

yes but just practicing will work to if you dont have the money to get in or something like that
