...and why does the NCAA tournament seem to get more coverage? I'm new to the college basketball circuit and would like to know why people seem to be more concerned about the NCAA title than the NIT. A site would be helpful....thanks!

Take into consideration that it’s called the Most Valuable Player award.
Which means the player who is most valued by their team. Not who can score the most points or who has the best handle.

They have a worse record than Chicago. If the standings were determined the same way they were last year that would make sense. This year, though, the leaders in each division are not necessarily the top three spots in the conference.

Are there rosters complete or do the games have missing palyers like NBA 2K7? Example: Paul Milsap, Chuck Hayes, and Other palyers that are missing are not in NBA 2K7 FOR PS2

Some people think that robert horry isn't good at basketball, but at finding winning teams making them think he can help.
I looked at it's stats and they aren't this impressive (he is known to shoot 3 pointers but even his 3 point accuracy is pretty low with 34.3%). i know that now the guy is pretty old and doesnt play like he used to. but was he once a real vital piece to any of the team he has been on? He did hit some nice clutch 3 pointers with the lakers and the spurs but i mean it can happens to most of the guards in the nba. what do you think?

I think he showed alot of respect for his university by not even considering taking another job. Around the state of Tennessee he is obviously very well liked, but around the SEC alot of coaches have expressed their dislike for him. WHY????

March madness is an advertisers dream. Most of these kids will not go pro. Should they not get something from their hard work. I understand they are getting an education, but what percentage gets the best education.

I'm 6'2" and weigh 187 pounds. I want to dunk on people during basketball games. I can only reach and touch the lip of the rim when I jump. I've been squating, leg pressing and working out my calves at the gym. Is this enough? Does anyone have good tips and advice?

I had never heard of him until I looked up a list of names of current and former basketball players. His name was right along with Ira Bowman, formerly of the Sixers, and Nate Bowman, formerly of Bulls, Knicks, Braves, and Pittsburgh Condors. My last name is Bowman and I really want to find out more about the elusive Art Bowman. I don't even know if he played in the NBA or ABA or any other league. Any help on this subject would be much appreciated.

I'm new to basketball, but it looks like 16 of 30 teams make the playoffs, which is a much larger proportion than in the sports I have followed for years (baseball, football).

I just finished watching the Memphis vs. Lakers game and I'm really amazed that Smush Parker took the last shot. WTF was Phil Jackson or he thinking? The guy sucks so bad that after Kobe got the offensive reb and got blocked they didn't commited a foul. Is so retarded. I just hope that either KG, jermain or zach randolph go to the Lakers next year so they can get some real help. I wouldn't mind to get rid off brian cook, parker even bynum for one of those players.
