March madness is an advertisers dream. Most of these kids will not go pro. Should they not get something from their hard work. I understand they are getting an education, but what percentage gets the best education.

Well, they don't go to school for an education actually. They just go there to be seen and hopefully make it to the NBA. That's all there is to it. Sure they work hard, but that's life, sometimes you make it sometimes you don't.

The students get a free, four year (if they stay that long) college education for their hard work.

It really doesn't matter what percentage of them get the best education... as with any other student, you get out of college what you put into it.

It's up to each individual player to take the best advantage of the opportunity. Some do. Some don't.

They deserve to get paid because of the millions that are made off them by their schools, NCAA and apparel companies.

The only problem is that not everyone makes the same amount of money for their school so it's impossible to distribute the profits evenly. In addition not every D-I school generates the same amount of money. So theres another issue.

Paying them is immpossible. College sports is great because of Amatuerism. Paying them will ruin it. However I would like to see the NCAA lighten up on some of their rules.

It's business. Someone has to pick up the tab. And it's more likely the NCAA are getting money than they let funnel down to the schools. But hey, free education, free shoes and clothes, free trips and accommodation, primetime national exposure. It's not a shabby deal these kids get.

they might be getting exploited a little bit, but it might be the NCAA that reaps the benefits.
