Im not sure if its my style of play because Im a big guy 6'4 that plays both inside and out. I am more of a jump shooter and so many people say I should be banging down low. But this is what I dont get, when Im on D I do bang down low and do play solid defense, but for some reason since people just think of me for my offense they dont give me any credit for my overall game. Now I feel slighted and not appreciated because all they see is this big guy who can shoot. How can I get them to appreciate me?

You can't argue with Texas, can you?

Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston. It's rediculous 3 of the top 4 ranked teams are from Texas.

See I have this literature project at school and I have to write a five page paper on a person who influenced black history (black history month.) Now my teacher told us that if our person we picked is alive and we can get some sort of interview with them we didn't have to write any of the paper.

I'd say Artest...because he could score better then Rodman.

Michael Jordan
Kareem abdul Jabbar
"Pistol" Pete Maravich
Jerry West
Charles Barkley
Bill Russell
Wilt "the stilt" Chamberlin
Bob Cousy
Bob McAdoo
Larry Bird
Kevin Mchale
Isiah Thomas
Oscar Robertson.

My favorite would be a tie between Jordan's flashy dunks and buzzer beaters, and Pete Maravich's STUNNING passes, shooting, and dribbling!

Kobe seems just a bit slower than MJ, if you don't believe this, watch any of the 90's Bulls/Knicks playoff series and I doubt you would ever see Kobe recover as quick as MJ.

The games of the 80's with Bird, Magic, and Isiah were competitive and team oriented. Players weren't just vying for the Most Valuable Player award, but trying to win and prove themselves worthy to be all-stars.

There were recently cheap rush tickets on sale for a Celtics-Rockets game, and I went ahead and reserved a couple without asking him. It turned out that they only had 12 tickets available, and I got the last ones.

The dilemma is, I found out later that his best friend also wanted to go with him, but was too late on the tickets. What should I do? I really want to hang out with my boyfriend too-- we don't do it as much as before. But I feel like I should get the tickets and give them to the guys so they can hang out and my bf can have a guy's night out... which I know he really likes.

What should I do? Am I being too nice, or am I being selfish?

I remember in one game when the Lakers played the Heat and Shaq dunked on Bynum and then the next play Bynum dunked on Shaq and gave him a shove going down court. They both received T's for it. On ESPN the next day i remember them showing a quote by Shaq saying something really funny about being Dr. Shaq and not wanting to be friends with someone who didn't even go to college. Idk what it exactly was but if anyone knows what im talking about and knows the quote it would be greatly appreciated.

I like basketball, but the foul rules are hard to understand. I have looked for a picture or video site for better explination but to no avail. I understand the basic concepts, but rules like over the back, and time and distance stuff really aren't clear. All of them are not really clear for me truthfully, can anyone help?

I'm wondering if the height of the basketball rim of my high school gym or any normal gym is as high as the ones in professional gyms such as the nba ones. and what about the from throw line distance, is that the same or different on the two kinds of gyms? because if they are the same, then nba players should all have a 99% free throw accuracy.

Now that Eddie and Tyson are tearing it up with their new teams, I am wondering now if there is some kind of seller's remorse or are the Bulls (and their fans) feeling quite ok with their replacements?
