Nash by far

If we're talking about point guard skills, it's got to be Jason Kidd. Kidd is as versatile as Magic Johnson at the point although faster and with a better shot. He can run the break, which is what he does best, or orchestrate a good half-court play. And he does it without much fanfare, just pure basketball. Unfortunately, during his prime and even today, he has not been blessed with championship-caliber teammates that could give him a good shot at the title. Steve Nash has blossomed into a great point guard that he is in a short span of time and surprised everyone with back-to-back MVP wins. But if Kidd were in his prime and playing for the Suns, no doubt he would've been MVP two years in a row. As for Iverson and Arenas, I think they're off the equation for both are natural second guards.

There are only two point guards on your list, Steve Nash and Jason Kidd. Iverson and Arenas are shooting guards.

Between Kidd and Nash I'd say that Nash is the better of the two.

I am a die hard sixers fan and would give 5 years off the back end of life to have seen Iverson retire a Sixer.

But the truth is Steve Nash. Have you seen the Suns without him. They are a bunch of great players who cannot move the ball. Steve Nash may not be the best point guard, but he is the absolute best fit for that team. So my answer is Steve Nash

Gilbert is not a point guard. Neither is AI for that matter. You gotta go with nash.....He can out shoot Kidd hands down. Out of those 4 I think AI is the best player.......He just has never had the right team around him to get to the top.

AI and Hibachi are shooting guards stuck at point guard because they are too short. Nash is great at dishing but so is Kidd, plus Nash is surrounded by better players. I don't know, really.
