Kobe seems just a bit slower than MJ, if you don't believe this, watch any of the 90's Bulls/Knicks playoff series and I doubt you would ever see Kobe recover as quick as MJ.

This question is in regards to all those players hyped as being the next "it" players. And if you think Kobe is as quick as MJ, watch the 90's Knicks/Bulls series again sometime, you'll see Jordan's recovery speed is amazing.

MJ wasn't the quickest he had the best overall talent and was probably one of the smartest players to ever play the game plus the desire to be the best. Quickest player ever would probably be Allen Iverson.

quick I am sure there are people who are just as quick if not quicker, what are we talking about his 40 time or something. Jordan wasnt the fastest player to play basketball he had a great recovery time and followed his shots with a keen awareness of what was going to happen after the shot which I doubt we will ever see again but quick I am sure somebody in the NBA right now has a faster 40 time than Jjordan didn
