Only a hand-full of basketball players have won basketball championships in the NBA, World Chamiponships, and Summer Olympics.

Who is the most recent player to obtain the third of those 3 championships?

And, bonus points if you can name more than one of those players.

How sad would it be to not make the playoffs in that horrible conference even with the injuries.

That'll be a big fat no! Kobe couldn't even win with the 04 Lakers that had 3 other future hall of famers. 04 Laker had an younger Shaq(during the series he averaged 26.6 ppg & 10.8 rpg), a younger Payton(he was getting older but he was younger then what he was last year), Karl Malone(got injured, but The Pistons was still beating them when Malone was playing), then he had Rick Fox, Devean George, Derek Fisher, Bryon Russell(who all had finals expierence & played with Kobe for years), and the rest was some young talented players. If Kobe couldn't do it with that team, he sure couldn't of did it with the Heat. The Heat had a older Shaq(he averaged 13.7 ppg & 10.2 rpg), a older Payton, a old Mouring(who has 1 kidney & is limited to minutes, he averaged 11.0 mpg), Haslem(who's a undersized power forward, 6'8 & 235lbs.), washed up Walker & Williams, & etc.(& that team were new to each other). If that was Kobe's team they wouldn't of got passed Detroit! Kobe can't do what Wade did, PERIOD!

hopefully they wont be as lucky tonight. i just want to see just how scared Duke fans are to admit something like this. I know I always admit when my team sucks, or won a game on a bad call.

lets see who can step up to the plate here.

I always love the underdog story. It feels good when a team people don't expect shock the world and go down in history. In NBA history, what teams do you think had that spirit of the underdog? For me, it was my Knicks back in 1999, they became the first 8th seeded team to go to the Finals. It was disappointing that they lost, though.

I'm not even getting into how overhyped and overprotected Nash is in Phoenix. He has got to be hands down the worst defender in MVP history. Since when did NBA select MVP that doesnt play defense. Comments?

No salary cap. No contract restrictions. Just your favorite starting 5. Fill all 5 positions. Center, Power Forward, Small Forward, Shooting Guard, and Point Guard. Also think of team chemistry and how one player would play to the strengths of the others.

My starting 5 would be:
PG- Steve Nash
SG- RIP Hamilton
SF- Kevin Garnett
PF- Tim Duncan
C - Amare Stoudamire
