Kevin Durrant will more than likely become a small-forward in the NBA, and Greg Oden will become a power-forward.

Right now, it's hard to tell who will be better.
But I would say Oden, because he will be taught how to be a great and dominate post player with all his shot blocking skills (remember, he has been shooting with his OFF-HAND in college, so that will help him with scoring when he gets fully healthy).

And as for Durrant, I see him being a player like Shawn Merrion, with the ability to play D, make the outside shot, and also block shots.

Kevin Durrant because overall he is a better player. He is not as tall as Oden but he scores, rebounds, he can block, and he has an outside shot.

Kevin Durant has the better prototype to be a successful NBA player in terms of length and skills off the dribble. He's like a Kevin Garnett in terms of versatility. He's also more consistent than Oden and more valuble to his team presently.

So yeah, Durant definately.

I say Greg Oden. There aren't that many 7 footers that have his kind of low post skills. Once he gets to the NBA and hones his skills, he'll be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. Some say he'll be the next Shaq. He's got the height, and if he fills out his 7 foot frame the way he looks like he's going to, he'll be a sure hall of famer. If you look back at Shaq when he played at LSU, Oden looks very similar in terms of stature and skill.

Probably Durrant since it's better all around, even though I like Oden.

Greg Oden, because practically, he already has the skills that Tim Duncan had when Tim entered his 3rd year. Durant is more of a explosive type of player but consistency wise, it should be Oden.

Why can't anyone except Spaceman spell Durant. There is only one r. And it is Shawn Marion, not Merrion.

That said, I think that Durant will be better - he is a very Marion-esque player.

and best answer: oden's a C
