I always love the underdog story. It feels good when a team people don't expect shock the world and go down in history. In NBA history, what teams do you think had that spirit of the underdog? For me, it was my Knicks back in 1999, they became the first 8th seeded team to go to the Finals. It was disappointing that they lost, though.

I gotta agree with you again E. The best underdog story had to be the 1999 New York Knicks. That team was the first and probably only 8th seed to go all the way to the finals. They could of made the finals more interesting if my boy Patrick Ewing hadn't gone done with his injury. The series might actually had gone to the knikcs. The had players that could match up with that spurs team. Camby wouldn't had to guard Robinson and LJ would have had an easier time with Sean Elliot.

But man there was so many plays that made that team special LJ 4point play to beat the pacers, Houston miracle buzzer beater they way the manhandle the hawks in the semifinals.

That team play like champions.

To me this was my favorite New York Team of all time.

The biggest underdog story in sports history, I think, is still the Miracle on Ice.

But, in terms of basketball alone, I'd say that George Mason last year was right up there with the tops.

This year I think it was the Raptors no one thought they would edge out the NETS.
