I am a baseball fan(yankees) just not really of the twins, but I've always wondered what it stood for.

There is no loyalty between fans and players, and the owners just care about making lots of money, the players make the same money if they win or lose. It's a real money machine and there is no drama, the outcomes are always so very much the same. The teams with the biggest markets have the best teams. I am interested in hearing what you think. To me it is like rooting for ATT or IBM, really what is the difference, a game I would rather play than watch. Thats my rant.

Everyone keeps asking the question yankees or red sox. Well here is my question: dodgers or giants. One of the best baseball rivalries of all time. I love the Dodgers and I hope they sweep the Giants this season.

They win the world series every 5 years or so, then break up the team and start over. Why not keep a championship team together? Any Marlins fans out there who can explain?

He was leading on base percent, in the top 5 for hommers and RBI's, he even broke the record for most grand slams before the all star break (five) and he can hit for power and avrage. so why didnt he make it?

The New York Mets are building a new stadium in the parking lot of Shea. Though I am a huge Mets fan, I think Shea is a terrible stadium and I'm glad they're building a new field. Based on the pictures and descriptions, the new Mets Ballpark looks awesome. However, I've heard some rumors that it's gonna fall short of everyone's expectations.

I've heard it was Cobb, but is there any evidence for this? I can't find anything on baseball websites, but I'm maybe not looking in the right place. maybe it's just a fictional player for the symbol.
also, is it a right hander hitting with the ball behind or a left hander with the ball in the front?

Recently the Los Angeles Dodgers won 11 games straight. I wondered which team held the record for the longest winning streak and what year it took place.
