I just found out that i love to play softball...even though im not so great. the school team tryouts is august 30. i want to sign up for it but there are so many people who play softball on a community team that i know i cant beat. is it just a waist to tryout or should i give it a shot? I dont want to be embarassed in front of everyone. what should i do? please help me!

People talk about bad teams in baseball. Royals, Pirates, etc. But why doesn't anyone verbally pound on a team that hasn't had a record above .500 in 14 seasons. That team should be eliminated from the league. They are about 6 games below .500 this year too. And they aren't getting any better.
