at first, i'm a red Sox fan. I genuinely have seen some video games the position judgements he's made i assumed had a unfavorable result on the game, and that occurred about 4 circumstances. the guy's managed what one million, one hundred-something wins and four WS and 13 publish Seasons with the Yankees. They (Steinbrenner & Sons or Cashman) are genuinely retarded to enable him flow. Who the heck do they imagine they are going to replace him with? Mattingly? Mattingly turned right into a 1B, All-huge call. solid Managers (of the prevalent a Yankee manager might want to need to be) are both Catchers or Pitchers, not First Basemen. I mean his first 12 months there he managed a be conscious sequence win... yet another element after we had that knuclkehead Dan Duquette he spent a lot time blaming different people ... after a lengthy time period there became no one left responsible. an analogous element will take position to Cashman (who feels like a common huge apple city sleaze bag in any case). back, as a red Sox fan, it truly is great information. i'm hoping Torre is going to Texas, he can artwork some magic with them. he's a stylish guy and he will have an effective destiny. Yank followers get waiting for us to take many more beneficial branch Pennants now that you've only enable the most experienced and argueably the staggering manager in baseball stroll out the door.

Hmmmm....good question. Their was talk over the offseason about Steinbrenner firing Torre and then getting Lou Pinella for manager. I hope they never get Pinella but, I think Don Mattingly, Joe Girardi, Tony Pena or Larry Bowa would be good. I mean, all these coaches have great attitudes and know how to play the game right but, Pinella doesn't have a great attitude. He gets upset over every little thing!

Depends on who's available when he retires, If he retired right now, it would probably be Lee Mazilli. If he retired at the end of this year, it might be Lou Pinella. Maybe in a couple of years Joe Girardi will be available.

I think Lou Pinella would be the obvious choice......just following Stienbrenner's history for rehiring fired managers.....besides that "Sweet Lou" had Torres number last year at Tampa Bay.....the Yanks couldn't beat them.....Pinella is familiar with Johnson and A-Rod all they would need is Buhner back out of retirement and the Martinez as well......Lou is the man....her was one of their biggest "clutch" batters and will get them back to a World Championship......GO YANKEES!!....STINKIN RED SOX!!

I believe it would be a short list. On top of that list would be Mattingly then would be Randolf third would be Girardi and last but not least would be bring back Showalter.
