I think The Tigers win the Central.
If we play the West in the wild card, The Tigers should win no problem.
However, The Tigers would likely play Boston or ny in the ALCS.
I dont see them winning there, but it is possible. If The Tigers do win the ALCS, then The World Series would be a breeze.
Jim Leyland is all the experience Tthe Tigers need.
Even though we are without Placido Polanco, he will be back in time for the playoffs---and thats when we will need him the most.

properly they have one tiny subject. The Toronto Jays don't have an relatively stable offence. Vernon Wells was once an one hundred RBI guy. And same with Scott Rolen. It purely isn't an offences team yet there pitching is so stable they have been given a triumphing checklist this season. The youthful adult males on the pitching artwork rigidity led with the aid of Halladay and Burnett have accomplished a brilliant interest. I assume if the Yankees do properly next 12 months then the east is going to be the best branch in baseball!

AL west: oakland A's
AL Central: detroit tigers
AL east:NY yankees
wildcard:twins
the oakland A's will win the pennant, it doesnt matter what your record is once your in the playoffs, and defense wins championsships; defense is exactly what the A's have. they will have rich harden back, and that means that their 1st 4 pitchers are all very good. the tigers will finish with the best record at +100 wins but the team with the best record often doesnt make it, take the 1906 cubs and the '54 indians, they both had one of the best records in history but still didnt win the world series.

East: Yanks
Central: tigers
West. A's
WC: White Sox
Yankees have 3 good starters, good bats
Tigers Have a powerful offense
A's have a good defense
White sox hav a little of both.
The Yankees will probably win in the long run.
Hey, this year might be another subway series.

IF the twins get in, they'll grab the pennant. santana, liriano and radke (asince his lousy start) is the best 1-2-3 pitching combo in baseball.
that said, i think it'll be yankees, tigers, angels and white sox.
i like the yankees outta that group because mussina, unit and wang seem to be the best group of pitchers and NOBODY is better at closing games than rivera.

The New York Yankees will eventually win it all. Joe Torre has done a fantastic job at keeping the team together.
The Yankee bats are getting the job done.
