Not sure if he was a starter or just a relief pitcher to start out. He injured his right arm and switched to pitching with his left. He is or was a closer for a major league team

When Hideki Matsui broke his wrist, a Red Sox fan informed me and was beside herself with glee. I understand the rivalry between the two teams, but something is wrong when people celebrate someone's misfortunate. Before this occurred, I routed for the Red Sox when the teams played eachother. Now, I root for the Yankees.

The yankees sent a player to be named later to Texas. Don't know who it turned out to be.

take a look at this line-up
1. 2B-David Eckstein- he'd have to shift to second
2. RF-Bobby Abreu-wow hititng second he'd dominate
3. 1B- Albert Pujols-Amazing-enough said
4. SS-Miguel Tejeda- hitting behind albie would def pay off
5. 3B-Scott Rolen-hitting for a ridiculius average this year (for him)
6. CF-Jim Edmonds-imagine him hitting 6 even with his struggles
7. LF- Juan encarnacion- for cards him hitting 7 isn't all that bad
8. C-Yadier Molina- pathetic, but plays sick defense, and he's hititng eighth anyway.
9. Pitcher- and if jason marquis is pitching that makes them all the more deadly offenisvely because he can hit with the mike hamptons, and the tom glavines

You're at the 2007 all star game. pete rose's lifetime ban has finally been lifted, and bud selig is conducting a pregame ceremony to welcome him back into the baseball community. the sellout crowd is on its feet, giving pete a long overdue ovation. bud selig shakes pete's hand and hands him a plaque. just then, without warning, a midget runs onto the field, approaches rose, and calls him an arrogant @sshole. pete begins to savagely beat the midget down with the plaque. as the bloodied midget crumples to the ground, pete yells, "THAT'S why they call me the HIT king!!" pretty funny, huh??

I believe it was a Baltimore game. It went a lot of extra innings and I seem to recall it raining on an off. Along these same lines, can coaches be activated to play at the manager's descretion? I'm refering to full-time coaches, not player/coaches or player/managers, such a Pete Rose, Yogi Berra or Manny Mota in the past. Thanks!

you're at fenway park, watching the red sox take batting practice. david ortiz is up and crushing balls over the fence in left field. all of a sudden, a midget approaches the batting cage area, wanting big papi's autograph. ortiz doesn't see him, unleashes a mighty swing on a ball, and bashes the midget's head open with his follow through! the midget crumples to the ground, his body quivering, and blood oozing from the gaping hole in his head. pretty funny, huh?

It's never on ebay, it's extremely rare and the only real way to tell the difference is they used more of a yellow than orange color on back. I have the regular, OPC and Venezuelan Ryan rookies.

Tee-time is 8:10 eastern time. I hope the Cardinals staff has a healthy supply of balls, because there's gonna be a few more deposited into the stands tonight courtesy of the Braves.
