1. 1965 against the Dodgers. Dodgers won 4-3
2. 1987 against the Cardinals. Twins won 4-3
3. 1991 against the Braves. Twins won 4-3
The Twins have NEVER won a road world series game. The only home game they have lost was game 7 against the Dodgers.
The 1965 world series is famous for the fact that this was the world series that Sandy Koufax would not pitch on opening day because it was the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur-the day of atonement.

I have a pair of twins that has gone to the last three world series. They can usually get pretty cheap seats on ebay.

won it all in 87 and 91, beating the cards in 87 and the braves in 91. 91 was the best world series in history.
