If he's a baseball fan,here's my idea:

favorite team baseball hat or jersey(which ever you can afford)

Baseball movie: Bull Durham,Field of Dreams,Major League or For The Love of the Game

An d at the bottom of the box.;Tickets to his favorite teams game

wrapped in baseball designed wrapping paper or the sports page

or if you're really creative place the items inside a baseball glove or mitt..

Have dinner at the game and afterward

"let him hit a home run" with you......

I'm a guy too, so I have a few suggestions:

1. You could get him a baseabll hat, like other people said. Personally I love caps, and am thrilled when someone gets me one. This might be a better idea than the nother options if you're on a low budget.

2. A step up from a cap: a jersey. Finding a good jersey is a bit easier since they work well with sports beside baseball. If he likes football, get him a jersey with his favorite team.

3. A video game of some sort. Guys that like video games are often eager to enlarge their collection (I know from personal experience). If he has a DS, get him a DS game. If he has a PSP, get him a PSP game. If you are able to spend a pretty big amount, if he doesn't have one already, you could even get him a console.

4. A movie. Movies are often a good bet because everyone has seen some and likes some, so it won't be hard to find something he would like.

Remember that these are just a few suggestions, and that there are many more things to get. I hope that helped a bit.

Ask his mom for pictures of him growing up and make a small scrapbook for him. I made one for my hubby and he cried! Leave some end pages empty so he can fill them in with pictures of his choice and of you 2 together.
I also got him a dvd recorder, two PS2 games, clothes, a boxful of snacks, a great card , and a weekend trip, so basically, get him as much as you can afford! : )
But since you're in the baseball section, I assume he likes baseball. Whatever "DARK THORN" answered ( above ) was right on the money!

attempt taking him tenting for the weekend, if he's the exterior-y form. it is going to likely be affordable, relaxing, creative, and romantic! deliver a map of the celebrities and locate constellations jointly! possibly even a bottle of champagne, and a comfortable over-sized slumbering bag for 2! only deliver various trojan horse repellent and don't ignore to fasten nutrition up at night to maintain it risk-free from unwelcome critters. have a sturdy time!

If he has a favorite baseball team close by, pay the extra money and get him good tickets. If you've been going out a while, try calling the ballpark and mention that your boyfriend will be celebrating his B-day at the ballpark and they might even throw his name up on the scoreboard.......good luck

If he likes a specific university or pro team go too a sports memorabilia store and buy him a autographed baseball ,football helmet or a game worn autographed jersey.

Let him keep thinking about you...Get him a few Frank Sinatra Cd's and 6 months worth of lotto tickets with very specific recognizable dates and numbers on the one ticket...

Good luck ....

Not sure how close you all are...but if you were to present yourself to him wearing ONLY a baseball hat...I am sure he would find that special!
