Wishful thinking tells me that since Oakland, New York, and Detroit will win their divisions in the AL, the White Sox will take the wild card. In the NL the Dodgers, Mets, and Cardinals will win their divisions and here is my big surprise......The Phillies will somehow make the playoffs as the NL wild card. By the way, is that really you in the picture??

I like the Reds in the NL because of how aggressive they have been with recent trades. They are in the hunt and I think they are here to stay. The tem that comes in 2nd place between the White Sox and Tigers will make it from the east. I think it will be the Tigers with the wild card. If the Reds happen to come back and win that division, the Cards. will be the WC.

AL - Tigers (there's no way they can hold off the White Sox in the Central, but they will hold off the Yanks for the wild card)

NL - Braves (they've erased the memories of that 6-win month, and they are clearly better than the teams ahead of them. Probably too late to catch the Mets though)

Tigers and Reds.....Tigers will lose the Central lead to the White Sox but will hold off the Red Sox...yes the Red Sox will lose to the Yankees in the east.

Reds have streaks but will stay better than the Braves....Braves are swinging a hot bat but it's not gonna stay long because their pitching will not hold up
