Not sure if he was a starter or just a relief pitcher to start out. He injured his right arm and switched to pitching with his left. He is or was a closer for a major league team

The other answerer is right, Billy Wagner.
However, he has been a LHP for his whole MLB career. Sometime during his childhood, he broke his right arm twice from playing football so he switched to pitching left handed. He still does everything else right handed.

mets pitcher billy wagner he throws 100 mph he is a good reliable closer,i cant imagine what his carrer would be if he was a right hander.
