Ive been in many sports debates about this and I still think either Pujols or A rod will have a good chance to break the all time home run record if they still healthy. You say Ruths record but Im assuming you meran Hank Aarons. I also think if Griffey stayed healthy he might of shattered it.

What record are you referring to? The Babe has no homerun records. The only record he has left to his name is the career slugging percentage (.690).

If Pujols keeps playing well, he could break that.

yeah... Especially if he keeps batting like this. I think he will beat A-rod's record of being the youngest hitter to hit 400hrs under the age of 30. Go to http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/stats/mlb_individual_stats_player.jsp?playerID=405395&statType=1 and look at his record and you will also come to that conclusion. Remember..... He is only 26 and he already has 232hrs. When A-rod was 26 he had 241 hrs (by the end of the season). With 10 more hrs albert would break it (go to http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/stats/mlb_individual_stats_player.jsp?playerID=121347&statType=1 to see A-rod's record. See Babe Ruth's record at http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/stats/historical/individual_stats_player.jsp?c_id=mlb&playerID=121578&HS=True and see if he breaks ruth's record or not.

As long he's healthy and no errors, he might pass BR's record.
